Our Milestones
The program has marked great milestones by seeing completion of the following
- Completion of land compensation process to over 1,792 Project Affected Persons (PAPs)
- Acquisition of 59.95 acres of land covering at least nine land occupied by 28 PAPs
- Issuance of awards to 28 PAPs for acquisition of extra land for dam’s expansion
- Completion of passabe access roads to site
- Completion of surface excavation and earthworks for the dam foundation and excavation of the twin 12m diameter diversion tunnels
- Completion of the contractor’s camp
- Construction of engineers’ offices currently being used by staff
